The Goshen Running Club is the host organziation for the Goshen Turkey Trot, an annual 10-K run held on Thanksgiving morning at the Fairgrounds in Goshen, Connecticut.

2011 marks 34th year of the tradition, which is famous not only for its rigorous, picturesque course, but also for the bonfire, cider, donoughts and enthusiastic participants and spectators. The race is organized by local volunteers and made possible by local sponsors. Proceeds from the event are used to support a variety of local charities and programs.
