The Turkey Trot is organized by local volunteers. This race is much more than a flurry of activity on Thanksgiving morning!

In the weeks leading up to the race we need volunteers to fold shirts, enter and organize registration data, and assemble pre-registration packets.

On race morning volunteers help us pass out pre-registration packets, handle race day registration, sell vintage t-shirts and beanie hats, set up cider and doughnuts and water at the fairgrounds, set up and monitor the course, manage water stations, call out times at the mile markers, manage the flow of spectator and participant traffic around the finish line, remove timing chips, assist with the awards ceremony, clean up trash and recycling, etc. There's always something to do!

Thank you to all of our volunteers in past races, including Goshen's Troop 35 Boy Scouts. We couldn't do it without you!
